Where style meets stone

The Slate Coaster Company started with a simple idea: the small things on a table should be as considered as everything else on it. Natural slate has a weight and an edge to it that printed coasters never quite manage - and it takes an engraving beautifully.

Every coaster is cut from natural riven slate, engraved to order, then cleaned and sealed by hand in our UK workshop. Because the stone is natural, each piece carries its own markings - part of why we like it.

Made to order, not from a warehouse

We don't hold finished stock. When you place an order it goes onto the bench, gets engraved, finished and checked, and is posted out - usually within 3–5 working days.
